1-Clock Tower Square: This Square is the most active area of the city. Old Greek District was to take place left of this Square. 2-Yalı Avenue: This is a part of the Historical Bazaar where is known as Down Bazaar. You can buy cheese desert that unique to Çanakkale from this Bazaar where you can find several shopping centers. You can reach the Yalı Square that end of this way if you will turn the left side where is close for traffic. Yalı Bath, Yalı Mosque and old Yalı shops are giving life to here. You can see the Çimenlik Castle that organizes like a museum if you pass from inside of Inn and return to the top of Street. 3-Çimenlik Castle: This castle is the fortune of the Çanakkale city. The old name of this Castle was “Kala-i Sultaniye” which build by Fatih Sultan Mehmet at 1462. 4-City Museum and Archives: The building of the museum was built in 19th century and recently restored by the Municipality of Çanakkale. 5-Cami-i Kebir District: The first localization of Çanakkale was Fatih Mosque ant it’s around. That is a typical Ottoman square too that converge of many way. You can reach the Victory Square if you pass from the old district.

6-Victory Square: The old name of this square is the Church Square. Because there is a Church take place at this Square. The houses at the around was compose the Armenians District. Now you can see a different building there that has an interesting architecture style which name is Nedime Hanım Mektebi and this building restored and using by the University.

7-Ece Ayhan’s House: Two officially registered and historic properties, 380 square metres in size with an inner garden and located near of the Tıflı Mosque in Zafer Square, have been returned to use for the social and cultural life of Çanakkale through some restorations by the Çanakkale Municipality. Opened in 2015, the building has a “Şiir Kafe” (poetry cafe), a sales area, a culturue and arts organisation area, and upstairs there is a library, a meeting hall, management offices and an area for functions.

8-Korfmann Library: It was built in the 1890s and used as the Armenian Childrens’s School, then later used as a warehouse for the Turkish State Liquor and Tobacco Monopoly. It was restored by Çanakkale Municipalty and turn into a library. Prof. Dr. Manfred Osman Kofmann, Director of the excavations at Troy, died in 2005 and donated his books to the city in his will. It now serves as a prestigious library with 10.000 specialised books.

9-Çarşı Avenue and Aynalı Bazaar: Still this is the most active shopping area. Aynalı Bazaar was restored by Çanakkale Municipality truth of own. This Bazaar has songs about it’s own history. 11-Greek District: This is the second Greek District that builds start of the 1990’s. The other name of this district was Venizelos District. Post Office and the hospital of the city is take place at this area. The most important two buildings of this district are still using like a school buildings that names are İstiklal Primary School and Cumhuriyet Primary School. There is a building at the corner of the Street and using like a children activity house. Again, this children activity house was restored. You can reach the Cumhuriyet Square when you turn back from Hasan Mevsuf Street.

12-Cumhuriyet Square: In the history of the city every time trehe were a square at this area. The last arrangement of the Square was realize at 2000. Here you can see sculpture of Atatürk. The sculpture was hold by Nejat Sirel. The importance of this sculpture is that when Atatürk was living this sculpture made by its sculptor. You can pass to the Public Garden from here.

13-Public Garden: 36.000 square meters of this area is protectig like a garden which is start to formed by Calvert Family at middle of 1800’s. There are Cat Dandruff, child garden, sport garden, walking and running racecourse, cafeteria and different kind of trees (some of them are centennial) inside of this garden.

14-Cordon: Here is the walking and meeting point of the city especially at the summer time. Most of the city-dweller is want to visit here. Cordon takes place from Public Garden to Necip Paşa Mosque. At the last of our trip you can sit a cafe at Cordon and you can sup your tea with grand pass way landscape at enjoy the beauty.

15-Çanakkale Ceramic Museum: The building which was built in 1904 in the Cevatpaşa Neighbourhood was previously a “hamam” (Turkish bath) for soldiers. The building was restored and opened in 2013 for visitors as the Çanakkale Ceramic Museum by the Çanakkale Municipality.

The two story building had a ‘frigidarium’ (cold room) on the Kaya Sokak (Kaya Street) side which is now the entrance and reception area and the rooms that are further in which used to be for warming and heating have been converted into an exhibition space. There is a temporary exhibition space upstairs from what used to be the frigidarium. In the museum, there is a conference hall, a ceramics workshop, restoration and conservation rooms and a cafetaria. The garden of the museum is used for hosting cultural activities.
